Abstract:Tourism, as one of the vital driving forces, corresponds to the demands of the trend of new-type urbanization-urban-rural coordinating development, urban-rural integration, city-producing interaction, intensive land use, ecological and livable environment, and harmonious development-and becomes one of the important directions of the new urbanization in China. This paper starts from the interrelation in PLE (production-living-ecology) spaces, establishing TSOS model builds an evaluation index system with four levels:target layer (3 indexes), criterion layer (9 indexes), sub-criterion layer (24 indexes), factor layer (96 indexes) from three aspects of urban living, recreational production and ecological conservation spaces, and using GIS technology to analyze suitability evaluation of PLE spaces in Mayangxi eco-tourism area. The results show that:1) The production space takes Shanchong village, which is in the northern part of the area, as a core and shows a pattern of local regional agglomeration and a fuzzy edge extending along the whole Mayangxi River, and the proportion is 11.5%; 2) The living space should be gathered in southern part of Shili village as a supporting service and living space of tourism area, and the proportion is 32.3%; 3) ecology space takes the central part-Tianzhu Mountain-as a core area, and it carries the function of environmental quality protection, and the proportion is 56.2%.
